The Independent Forestry Panel has been established by the NSW Government to determine the future of our forests and they want to hear from us.

Though the independence of this panel is questionable - the Chair is a former CEO of the Forestry Corporation and there is not a forest ecologist in sight, the public submissions process presents an opportunity to show once and for all that all of the evidence says that we must end native forest logging immediately. 

We are preparing a submission guide with the people who understand our native forests and the urgent need to protect them best. They are conservationists, ecologists, climate scientists, fire experts, Traditional Custodians, economists and community forest protectors working tirelessly to protect our native forests.

The guide will be comprehensive and compelling. It will allow you to make the most effective and timely case for ending native forest logging in NSW to the Independent Forestry Panel as they make massive decisions about the future of our precious native forests.
