STOP CATS KILLING WILDLIFE
For the first time in environmental politics we have State and Federal Environment Ministers who are willing to act to prevent the billions of native animals being killed by feral and wandering cats every year. This is huge - and it will take all of us together to make this happen.
The Federal funding for the control of feral cats, using innovative technology and tools, is huge - and will make a real difference across ecosystem. But, without effective tools and enforcement of these tools at a local level to stop domestic cats from being outside their home native wildlife will continue to be indiscriminately killed by cats and many pushed to extinction.
The Government is ready, native animals can't wait and the Greens have been pushing for this for decades - let's get it done.
